Freedom Writers

The Freedom Writers, 150 strong, speak to students, teachers and the community around the world. The Jr. Freedom Writers have had them come to speak on a few occasions. The Jr. Freedom Writers have even traveled to see them speak from San Diego to Long Beach. 

Doug Luffborough

Doug brings his passion for success to students as he shares how this once homeless young man graduated college, was invited to the White House by President Bill Clinton and later furthered his education at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. David Faber (Holocaust Survivor)

David Faber is a holocaust survivor who shares his story in the book, Because of Romek. The story is about his family's life during World War 2 and Mr. Faber's time in and out of 9 different concentration camps. Mr. Faber's 2 hour long story captivated a room filled of middle schoolers.

Matthew Boger and Tim Zaal

From Hate to Hope® is a remarkable true story of the reconciliation of a perpetrator and victim of a hate crime. Featuring Matthew Boger and Tim Zaal, this presentation examines the roots of prejudice and discrimination and the ability to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles (Museum of Tolerance 2014).

Mark Brown

Mark Brown is a motivational speaker who transforms students as he spreads his anti-bullying message to students across the country.
